Frequently asked questions

Should my furniture piece be stripped and refinished? I don’t want it to look too new.

Not all furniture needs to be completely stripped and refinished. Many times, our old furniture simply needs to be cleaned with a mild detergent and the finish repaired. Various techniques and strategies will bring the old finish back to life by removing dirt and oxidation. The result will be a cleaner and brighter appearance while retaining the original color and wood grain. Your furniture will retain its character and provide you with a more functional and joyous experience.

What do you repair and restore?

Both modern and antique wood furniture. This includes chairs, tables, benches. decor, coffee tables, credenzas, bureaus, desks to name a few.

How long will it take to restore my furniture piece?

It depends on many factors, like the size and the extent of the repairs and restoration. In general, about 2-4 weeks for smaller pieces that don’t require a full restoration and 4-8 weeks for full restoration of larger pieces.

Do you make house calls?

Yes, sometimes minor repairs can be made at your home. This mainly includes small repairs to damaged finish, but occasionally minor structural repairs and adjustments can be made onsite.

Are estimates free?
